In March of 2010, ISRI’s Board of Directors unanimously adopted a forward-looking policy and set of guidelines for the export of electronic scrap. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has taken what it calls its first step to help electronics recyclers adhere to published export standards when processing and shipping obsolete electronics.
