<p>If your Wireless is not working, don’t fret, this is a common issue with Windows 7. Your system may need Driver Updates for this fix.  Call the number above or if you wish to fix it yourself, simply Plug in an Ethernet Cord to your modem to connect to the Internet. You will then need to visit the manufacturer website and search your specific model number.  Download and install your wireless driver.</p>

<p>If your Windows 7 copy saying it is Not Genuine please check your Internet connection. If you cannot connect to the Internet please refer to the Wireless Fix above. Once connected to the Internet you will be able to verify your copy of Windows, Windows 7 will not know if your copy is genuine or not until you have logged on to the Internet. <li><strong>Multiple COA’s:</strong> Some computers (often those with Windows XP Home or Professional) may have two COA’s on them. If you have two COA&#8217;s, make sure you are using the one that says “REFURBISHED PC” on the label (see below).</li>
<li><strong>Making sure it is entered correctly:</strong> Copy the COA from the label onto a piece of paper. Double check to make sure it is correct. Pay close attention to 8&#8217;s that could look like B&#8217;s, O&#8217;s that can be mistaken for Q&#8217;s and such. Enter the COA using the piece of paper.</li>
<li><strong>Activate Windows over the phone:</strong> Call toll-free <strong>888-571-2048</strong> to speak with a Microsoft customer service representative – they can help you activate Windows if you are still having trouble.</li>

<ul>
<li>Shut down the computer so all its lights are off. Plug in the charger. Watch for any lights that turn on once the charger is plugged in. If no lights turn on, adjust the position of the power cord, making sure everything is plugged in fully. If there are still no lights on then the charger could be the problem.</li>
<li>Plug the computer in, turn it on, unplug it. If the computer turns off immediately then the battery could be the problem.</li>
<li>Remove the battery and plug the charger in. If the computer can turn on then the battery could be the problem.</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Computers with Microsoft Windows pre-installed upon purchase have the ability to restore their operating system using CD’s and/or a partition on the hard drive depending on the type of original operating system installation. If you received re-installation disk(s) with your system, you need to restore from those recovery disks. If your system did not come with disks, it has a recovery partition on the hard drive and you&#8217;ll need to use it to recover the operating system.</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Hard Drive Partition:</span></strong></p>
<p>If your computer has a <a href="http://www.technologycustomerservice.com/?p=97" target="_blank">COA</a> with “REFURBISHED PC” printed on it then your computer was built with a restore partition on the hard drive. Activating this will restore the operating system to factory defaults.</p>
<ul>
<li>Turn the computer off</li>
<li>Turn the computer back on</li>
<li>Immediately begin tapping the down arrow key</li>
<li>When given a choice between running Windows XP and the System Restore, select System Restore</li>
<li>Follow the on-screen instructions<a href="http://www.technologycustomerservice.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/System-Restore-Screenshot.png"><img class="alignright" title="System Restore Screenshot" src="http://www.technologycustomerservice.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/System-Restore-Screenshot.png" alt="System Restore Screenshot" width="273" height="152" /></a></li>
<li>After 10-20 minutes your computer will load a desktop</li>
<li>Wait for “System Preparation Tool 2.0” to load</li>
<li>Select “Reseal”</li>
<li>The computer will Shut Down</li>
<li>Restart the computer and <a href="http://www.technologycustomerservice.com/?p=97">re-activate Microsoft Windows</a></li>
</ul>

<p>If your computer came with operating system restore CD’s they can be used as well to restore the operating system to factory defaults.</p>
